An active brotherhood is the lifeblood of Alpha Phi Alpha. While 'college days may swiftly pass,' our mission endures. The choice to reactivate or maintain your involvement each year is a meaningful one, as every Brother must determine the level of engagement that best fits their life.

Become an Alpha
Becoming a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is not for the faint of heart. It demands your time, talents, and resources—but more importantly, it requires you to pass the test of a man. We seek individuals who rise in the face of adversity, maintain composure under pressure, and embody the strength to uphold the name of Alpha. Simply put, this ship does not need anchors.

As an Alpha, you are called to live with unconquerable resolve, exemplifying KNOWLEDGE, ACHIEVEMENT, SERVICE, INTEGRITY, QUALITY, HONOR, EXCELLENCE, and COMMUNITY. We seek men who, though faced with life’s storms, stand unwavering, filling the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds of purpose. If you cannot meet this standard, Alpha is not for you.
